2010-11 Emergency and Critical Care Residency

The emergency doctors include residents who are training at CCVS to become board certified emergency and critical care specialists ('criticalists'). Each of them is already an experienced emergency doctor who is furthering their training. They are learning through clinical practice and didactic studies not only the HOW of treating diseases, but the WHY and ORIGINS of diseases which helps them to tailor care when pets have multiple problems. The ECC residency brings additional depth and an increased doctor-to-patient ratio to the emergency and critical care service at CCVS.
